Congressman Tom Marino (R-PA-10) Welcomes Pennsylvania State Policeman as State of the Union Guest

January 30, 2018
Press Release

Washington, D.C. – I am pleased to welcome Pennsylvania State Trooper Seth Kelly and his wife Philomena as my guests to the first State of the Union Address given by President Donald Trump.

Corporal Kelly is a 13-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police and puts his life on the line each every day to ensure we are safe and protected. In November 2017, Corporal Kelly was injured from a gun wound shot during a routine traffic stop. Our men and women in uniform deserve the upmost respect and I am grateful for State Trooper Kelly’s service to the state of Pennsylvania.

Corporal Kelly’s service is an inspiration to us all and I am glad that he and his wife are in Washington, D.C. for this unique day in United States history. I encourage you and your families participate in this historic moment and tune in for President Trump’s State of the Union Address tonight.
